Meet the people behind Bottega Rotolo….


Bottega Rotolo SA

Bottega Rotolo SA has been a supplier of premium food and beverage products to South Australian renowned hospitality businesses and food savvy locals for over 15 years. Established and  operated by Rosalie Rotolo Hassan, it first opened in 1995.  Rosalie is a locally renown Italian cooking sensation (you will be lucky to get into one of her classes!) and has personally selected many of the products on offer at Bottega Rotolo SA and interstates.


Bottega Rotolo VIC

Stefano and Sarah Angelini live for food and wine with a particular passion for all things Italian. Both started their working career in the restaurant trade and this proved to be very good grounding for them as they embark on their new business in Victoria supplying quality foods and wines to restaurateurs and chefs. Sarah and Stefano have travelled extensively throughout Italy and Europe and met many suppliers on their travels. They understand the importance of a quality product and know the significance of having up-to-date product knowledge to share with their customers. In the Angelini’s own words “Our dedication is a personal one. We believe in the quality of our products and we proudly represent them to the Victorian market. We embrace the family traditions and artisan techniques of our suppliers and know that what we have is something real.”


Bottega Rotolo NSW

Annabelle and Paul are very proud to be representing Bottega Rotolo in Sydney, the city that is responsible for their love for the Industry. Paul has worked as a Chef for many years, beginning his training at Aria Restaurant in Sydney as a young apprentice and more recently a culinary sabbatical in the South of France and Northern Italy. Annabelle holds a Grand Diploma of Cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and has studied a Masters in Gastronomy. Together they are building the business in NSW around their own food philosophy seasonality, artisan producers and education on the products and the people behind them.


Bottega Rotolo TAS

Silvana and Tina are very proud to be representing Bottega Rotolo in Hobart. Silvana has grown up in the food industry with her family having one of the first licensed restaurants in Tasmania, Quigley's in Launceston.  She also had Taurian's restaurant in Battery Point in the early 90's.  She has since worked in restaurants across three states and then made the progression into specialty food retailing and distribution.

Tina has recently returned to her home state to follow her love of food and Tasmanis.  Having spent the last 10 years in the financial industry, Tina decided to take the plunge and make a career change to share her passion and knowledge with others.

 


Bottega Rotolo WA

Jonathan and Kirstie Kemble have been making their mark on the national food industry for some years now. Jonathan started by winning many Australian apprentice and young chef awards in the early 00’s and continued to head up some of Adelaide’s finest restaurants over the next 10 years.  Kirstie began her career in catering, before travelling Australia preparing, serving and enjoying food from all corners.

After being poached from the kitchen by Bottega SA, Jonathan was ready for the next big challenge and the family has moved to Western Australia to bring Bottega Rotolo’s passion for unique products and exceptional service to a new audience, making Bottega a truly national company.
